Anne Dennison

Anne Dennison

Anne Dennison has over 35 years of experience in metals. Her career started in base metals with Mitsui UK in 1982 and continued into precious metals from 1988. In 2000, she became the London Branch Manager of Mitsui Precious Metals Inc (MPM) and served on the LPPM Management committee from 2000-2014. Furthermore, she was chairman of the LPPM association for three years from 2006-2008 inclusive.

Aimie Keeler

Aimie Keeler

Aimie has three years of experience in precious metals analysis with six years working for the mining company Anglo American. Her current role is focused on developing the strategy for the Anglo-American group. With a keen eye for numbers Aimie studied for a Master’s in Physics before qualifying as an actuary while working as a consultant at PwC.

In her spare time Aimie used to enjoy dancing, baking and the ongoing project of renovating her flat. However, in 2018 Aimie had girl-boy twins who now take up most of her free time!

Sarah Masterson

Sarah Masterson is the Global Foreign Exchange & Commodities Americas COO for HSBC. 

Given her vast experience within Precious Metals over the last 10+ years, Sarah is a representative for a number of industry committees and advisory working groups, including recent blockchain technology initiatives. She is a member of the LBMA Regulatory Office Committee, as well as being an OECD Conflict Minerals Bullion Bank representative. Sarah describes herself as a hard-working, driven individual but still very much enjoys her leisure time, she is an avid runner and has completed several marathons and more recently has taken up triathlons.

Kirthanya Pillay

Kirthanya is a senior financial executive with over 14 years’ experience in investment banking, financial structuring, and corporate strategy.

She has spent most of her career in the Resources sector, predominantly in Investment Banking and Project Finance. During this time, she advised global and local companies in the mining and oil and gas sector on various transactions including mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance, debt and equity capital raisings and group strategy and stakeholder relations.

She is passionate about the Resources sector, the contribution it makes to the South African and global economy and the changing positive role it is playing in the lives of people.

Wilma Swarts

Wilma Swarts
Chairperson

Wilma is director of PGM Research at Metals Focus.

She is a commercialisation professional with 12 years’ experience in precious metals sales and marketing and 17 preceding years’ experience in business management, classical marketing, product development, market intelligence development and distribution. She served on various boards including chairman of The Platinum Incubator, director of The World Platinum Investment Council and The Platinum Jewellery Development Association and non-executive director of Furuya Metals in Japan.  She joined Metals Focus as Director of PGM Research in April 2020. In her leisure time she likes to play golf, run, cycle, and spend time with her indulging and patient husband.
