We were proud to participate in the Asia Pacific Precious Metals Conference (APPMC), hosted by the Singapore Bullion Market Association (SBMA) from 15–17 June 2025.
As part of the event, Women in PGMs proudly sponsored a dedicated session focused on diversity and inclusion in the precious metals sector.
We were also honoured to receive the SBMA Women Empowerment Sponsor Award – a meaningful recognition of our mission to elevate and support women across the PGM value chain.
During the session, @Joni Teves delivered a compelling address, sharing insights into:
– The evolving dynamics of the platinum group metals (PGMs) market
– The role of women as both consumers and changemakers – with women accounting for over 90% of global jewellery demand, according to the Responsible Jewellery Council
She also spoke about:
– Platinum’s recent price rally
– Investor interest driven by tight market conditions
– Optimism around the recovery in jewellery demand in China
