Nicky Shiels has been appointed as new committee member for the Americas Chapter of Women in PGMs (WiPGMs)

We are pleased to welcome Nicky Shiels as a new committee member for the Americas Chapter of Women in PGMs (WiPGMs).

Nicky Shiels is Head of Research & Metals Strategy at MKS PAMP, where she runs the firm’s research platform, translating market complexity into insight for clients and the broader industry. She has spent close to two decades in the industry — as a strategist at Scotiabank and Jefferies, and as institutional commodities sales at JP Morgan — following precious and base metals through most major market cycles. Her work blends a top-down view of geopolitics, macro and capital markets with bottom-up fundamentals and forecasting. She’s a regular voice in the WSJ, FT, CNBC and Bloomberg. South African-born and now based in New York, Nicky holds a B.A. in Economics from Yale and is looking forward to connecting with and growing the WiPGMs Americas community.
