Kim-Leigh Faria

Head of the CEO’s Office, Valterra Platinum

Kim-Leigh has a background in finance and is a CFA Charter holder. She currently leads the CEO’s Office at Valterra Platinum, bringing seven years of expertise in the PGM industry. She will be facilitating our panel discussion.

Annah Kgaswane

Group Head: Environmental – Implats

Annah is a chemical engineer, with her expertise in operational leadership, sustainability and environmental portfolios garnered over 25 years of work experience in the mining industry across the PGM value chain, with roles in Environmental management, Sustainability and metallurgical processing.

Nkateko Mathonsi

Head of Research, Equity Analyst South African Mining, Investec Bank

Nkateko Mathonsi is an equity analyst covering the SA mining stocks and the Head of Research at Investec Bank. She holds a degree in Chemical Engineering, an MBA and has completed the Programme for Leadership Development at Harvard. Nkateko has 9 years sell-side equity experience as well as hands-on mining experience, having worked for Implats and De Beers Consolidated Mines for 11 years prior to joining Investec Bank.

Thabisile Phumo

Executive Vice President and Head of Stakeholder Relations and Social Sustainability, Sibanye-Stillwater

Thabisile is an accredited public relations and communication specialist and a PRISA Fellow with 28 year’s experience in the public and corporate sector having held roles at UNISA, the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees, the Commission for Gender Equality and Anglo American Platinum.

Hayley Prinsloo

General Manager, Precious Metals Refinery, Valterra Platinum

Hayley holds a degree in Chemical Engineering and an MBA and has over 14 years’ experience across the PGMs value change in technical, operational and functional roles.
